Hello Chorus Members,
It’s time to review a few details to complete our season.
This Sunday (April 27) will be the Senior’s concert at Seasons Encore, just north of the Olds Hospital. Please join us before 2 pm on the second floor.
Attire for this event is our black on the bottom and white on the top. No scarves or ties required.
Rehearsal May 5th 6:45 to 9 pm for singers.
Set up begins at 6:30. Those who are able, please come and assist us to put the stage together. We will have risers and chairs to position.
6:45 we will begin putting people in place for the rehearsal. Rehearsal begins at 7:00.
Show May 7th
Set up at 5:30.
Choir in position on stage please for 6 pm. We need everyone for sound check and positioning.
Pictures will be taken between 6 and 6:30.
6:30 doors open
7:00 pm show.
There will be a 10 minute break during intermission. The Choir is welcome to go and rest in the large hall. Those who choose to wear costumes have time to change. Please bring any costumes to dress rehearsal as well so you can see how much time you have.
After the intermission we have guest artists Kate Walsh and Tracie Skeet Brooks doing two numbers. This allows a few minutes to line up or change costumes in the washroom while the audience is in the theatre.
Attire:
Black and Whites, scarves and ties for 1st half
Vintage shirts or outfits for the second half. You can keep your black bottoms and wear a Springy vintage style top.
I realize it’s hard to incorporate your scarves into the 2nd half so please disregard the scarf request for the second half of the performance. If you have ideas or can’t decide, bring it to rehearsal on Monday or try it out at Dress Rehearsal. Feel free to email me anytime with your ideas.
Thank you for the great season. Congratulations again on your performance at Festival. Your songs were absolutely lovely. You worked very hard, and it shows and was appreciated by the adjudicator.
